VACCINATION REQUIREMENTS

All cats must have an annual  current 3 in 1 vaccine against Feline Infectious Enteritis (Panleucopenia), Rhinotracheitis (Herpesvirus) and Calicivirus.
Owners MUST produce a current vaccination certificate prior to acceptance into the cattery.
The certificate is to be valid for the period of stay. If your cat is due an annual booster this has to be done at least 14 days prior to boarding.
Please note that if you cannot provide proof of current vaccination we will not be able to accept your cat/s for boarding.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS

  1. All cats must be de-flead and de-wormed prior to boarding. If any cat is found to have either fleas or worms they will be treated with a product obtained from the vet and the owner will be responsible for the costs incurred.
  2. Owners must produce a current vaccination certificate prior to acceptance into the cattery. Please note if the annual vaccination is due it must be done no less than two weeks prior to boarding
  3. The owner agrees to provide any necessary information regarding the wellbeing of their cat. e.g. dietary, medical or behavioural needs. Plus an emergency contact.
  4. Meadow Farm Boarding Cattery will take full care of all guests but will not be held liable for any illness, disease, injury, accident, loss or death for any reason whatsoever.
  5. Your authority must be given to release a cat to another person.
  6. All fees are on a per day basis and payment is to be made by cash or online banking on pickup. We reserve the right to charge for the period booked and not taken. A non refundable deposit will be required for the Christmas/New Year bookings. For long term stays a deposit will be required and progress payment arrangements can be made. We reserve the right to charge for the period booked and not taken.
  7. We do not accept adult entire male cat or diabetic cats
  8. Any vets fees incurred are payable by the owner and the owner accepts the veterinarian’s decision as to what care is given. A small fee will be charged to cover travel costs.
  9. If for any reason the animal is not collected within seven days of the specified collection date, and there is no communication between the owner and ourselves, we will contact the emergency contact person who will be asked to collect the animal. If after another three days this does not eventuate then we will endeavour to re-home the animal. All cost will be the responsibility of the owner and this will not release the owner from any unpaid fees or charges.
