| Semi Communal – main cattery |
Each cat has its own spacious bedtime quarters which are much larger than the standard required as set out in the "Code of recommendations and minimum standards for the welfare of animals in boarding establishments". The cats are fed in their own units to prevent cross contamination and are let out each morning to allow them entry to the lounge and all weather decks. The lounge area is light and airy with background music playing to help create a relaxed home environment. There are plenty of toys, climbing frames and furniture for the cats to play or relax and snuggle on. They are also able to access the all weather decks where they can watch the animal and bird life, or just relax in the fresh air. | Click to enlarge |
Semi communal – Room 1 houses up to 12 cats, Room 2 houses up to five cats |
| These are multi purpose rooms which can either be used for those cats that are a little more timid, or perhaps the old age pensioners who don’t want to be bothered with younger more playful cats. Each cat will have its own bedtime quarters and will be let out each morning where it can use the cat furniture etc. The rooms open out onto their own decks overlooking the meadow, chook pen, and gardens, so again there is plenty to look at. | Click to enlarge |
